if you still insist on installing, what error are you getting?

can you open any other program?

are there any errors for this issue in event viewer?

if you are having problems with .exe files, then the registry fix above should fix it. download to desktop, double click to merge to the registry, reboot, and then see if you can open the java file.

I try it. Same result. I don't think the .exe files are the problem because I have installed Firefox on this computer. Thanks for your help.
