Izware Nendo 1.5 Win32 - Best Of Simplest 3D Modelers>>>

Looking about I see that a jerk from another forum has uploaded my particular compilation of Nendo... OK, That means I don't have to...

https://archive.org/details/nendo-15

I have downloaded it to make sure, yeah it's untouched from when I assembled it... I bet he has not even installed it himself...

It is most likely the best of simple 3D modelers, the help file is very good, everything is right-click menu... Much better than Wings3D which unfortunately is coded on that obscure 'ERLANG' which has horrible framerate on even relatively low polys... Plus Wings3D does not have 3D paint, Nendo does as well as automatic UV mapping & can go many times the polys before chugging...

It is also good for quickly creating base meshes for ZBrush 1.23b which you probably see I got thread on too...

I have made quite a few models but the best were the BiBeast & Joan of Arc... Here's GIFs of them... The BiBeast was painted in Nendo as you can see but redone with procedural textures in Cinema 4D XL7 where it was finished up, it was just the bust...

The Joan of Arc gal modeled in Nendo also bringing in reference images onto flattened cubes in the paint room, I figured this out as I had not seen anyone else do it also brought into C4D XL7...

Nendo, like Wings3D & Nichimen Mirai is a VOLUME modeler which means you must always be working on a volume no polygon-by-polygon modeling...

Fortunately for the jerk the included keygen passed muster on archive.org... Nendo won't ask for a code until you EXPORT a model for the first time...

Very good should work on most anything, cleanest GUI ever...

Thank you! Never heard before, I'm eager to try it!
And yes, at least a mention of the original compiler (you) would have been nice and polite, but nicety and politeness are now endangered species... :(

You can tell this program was made by real boys from da hood!
I clicked them out of curiosity... and I got the .png of your links :D

Thanks... Yes, well I didn't have much of a problem with him not mentioning me, my problem was the asshole member he was at the forum we were both at, no gratitude at all of course...

He also under perhaps another account name has my Nichimen Mirai archive as well which most won't be able to get it running anyways...

Yeah, There's an account 'Unknown' but this might not be him but looking at contents it's certainly my archive... Well it's there if anyone wants it...

It's NOT actually portable... If you try to double-click the 'Start-Mirai' EXE you will get an error & just write bad license file to disc... Mirai must be properly date-faked & only CrackLock will do it which is included in that download...

While NENDO is a 3D application MIRAI is a 3D Operating System that overlays your OS so there are a number of processes that must 'see' the old date in a system-wide injection...

Works well on XP but not on all graphics... Older 1.xx OpenGL cards work better, some OpenGL 2.xx cards work... It shows up in how your 'selections' are lit up, or not...

Mirai is like Nendo on super steroids, very deep & you can Model, 3D Paint, UV Map, Animate all at the same time if you want... It's been surpassed in most all areas by many other packages except for modeling, still rules...

I'm trying to follow along with the Building a Penguin tutorial from the Nendo help documentation.
#15 instructs me to select all of the horizontal edges on the character and then use the Connect command.

According to the pictures, I'm supposed to get straight vertical edges going from top to bottom of the model. But instead I'm getting divergent edges. Any idea why that happens?

I recreated the same "pear" in CINEMA 4D and managed to connect the edges properly. So was that a software issue or did I fail to do something?

I didn't follow the tut I just made a box then extruded top-bottom at same time then scale-normal... Selecting all edges on a single side then connect... ll looks good...

It may be a graphics card issue (card too good) or maybe you made some extra vertices somehow but still it should be a solid line...

You might try using compatibility mode on the Nendo EXE maybe try NT/2000 (properties)...

Are you not using XP?

One other thing - TiFF Format is the default view in the paint room... The extra textures I included are JPG so you will need to choose THAT in the dropdown in order to see them...

OK, A few more things 'While in Rome'... Nendo only has one undo so you must have foresight... The only exception are some steps in the paint room which have more...

Also while on the subject of Mirai here's a channel that has some real good model videos that were actually made using Mirai's 'screenshot' utility... I especially like Martin Krol's 'Freak 1-2-3' videos so much that I made screensavers out of them....

BTW most the videos were never there 8 years ago... They only popped in about 2019-20 but they say they been there for 18 years or so you know what that means... Mandela Effect!... I have been to that chennel many times over the years, they only had a few...
