I had ordered some of these USB to Serial cables a few years back as an alternate for hooking up to UPS battery backup units that didn't have USB ports on them. I found them, but Windows XP64 appears to have no native driver to run them.

Above the image thumbnail, I have provided some of the info that comes from the device properties window, in hopes that it may help. If anyone has some thoughts on how I might get proper device drivers, by all means, please share.

    Thanks!

I did end up finding something after using a VPN/Proxy. There is a device driver pack out there: CH341SER and it relates to PID7523.

The website I found it at was: http://www.wch.cn/download/CH341SER_ZIP.html

I scanned all files once within the ZIP file, and once outside.

It's a chinese-based website. Once I switch to a proxy outside the States, it seemed to cooperate much better.

    Drivers installed.
