Is it safe to dual boot windows xp?

I am possibly planning to dual boot xp on my real machine since i only do it on vm. Is it safe? My previous post says if you connect to internet, my router will communicate hackers. But the video is just turning off firewall. Is it safe? I will turn off when booting

Tens of millions still use XP and connect to the internet, whether having dual boot capability or not. "Internet Security" is mostly hype. If you're not a multi-millionaire, or someone with military or corporate secrets, no hackers will be in interested in you anyway.

I have a Toshiba Tecra M7-S7331 laptop which has a dual-boot of Windows XP Tablet Edition and Windows 7 Pro.

The biggest problem with Windows XP is activation. Neither online or phone activation works anymore so you have to call Microsoft Tech Support for help with it.

Another way which I have also done is use offline activation. There is more information in the thread Windows XP activation algorithm cracked

Post #4 has download link for the file: xp_activate32.exe

After you connect to OneDrive look for folder "xp telephone activation"
