Installing and using 2 different versions of Firefox

Is there no way to install and use 2 versions in the same computer? To be able to use later versions than 52.9.

Cant run two different versions at the same time. 52.9 is the last version to work.under XP
I dont know what the latest portable version might be, as it/they wouldnt work anyway, , , ,

I have a version of 52.0 portable that I use (posting with it right now actually). I haven't searched for the newer 52.9, but I probably should.

Findithere. . . . .

edit: Not knocking anybody, but I have never had problems with this *59.9.0* version. Maybe it does not work on all pages/sites, but I've not run across one in my surfing.
I've tried some recommendations from here & had lesser satisfaction than with 52.9.

Thank you for the direct link. :) I actually realized I already downloaded it in 2018, but I haven't tried running it yet or must have run into some issue.

How are you running 59.90 on xp?

Maybe an ESR version of firefox could [also] be installed seperately from a normal build?
Just an alternate thought. I think I temporarily managed to install two instances of Firefox on my laptop last year.

edit: IGNORE the "Post Reply!!!"

The FF 29 attributes are the SAME

The "FFx2 from gnu" folder is backup from another computer, identical, *except for* newer bookmarks

If they're portable versions, you can have as many as you want. :D I keep about 5 different versions of browsers handy. You can run both FF and chrome simultaneously too, but if you run out of memory, they'll crash.
