Hello. I'm currently trying to install Windows XP, but there's a problem. Im currently using a HP Windows 7 computer. I put a Windows XP installation disk and installed Windows XP. But when im trying to copy files, a message comes up saying that it cant copy a certain file. Press ENTER to retry, and Press ESC to skip it. No matter how many times I press "ENTER" retrying doesnt work, so I am forced to skip the file. Once its finished copying the files, it goes to the Windows XP setup. But then it says "One of the components that windows needs to continue setup could not be installed"
I dont know what to do because I cannot install those certain files.
    What should I do?

I have had this problem sometimes when installing.

You have a number of possible ways to fix. Clean DVD Rom and try again. Format hard drive before installing and try again. Copy DVD Files to hard drive after formatting and install from there, or install from second hard drive.

Try this ISO after downloading from this site.

Download a different ISO from the above site or another site and try again.

    That’s your Saturday sorted.

Good Luck and welcome to the forum
