I have a newer SATA HD that I need to use in an older desktop computer with a IDE motherboard on the slave cable connector.

I want to use the SATA drive in the extra HD bay and hook up the IDE slave cable and power cable to operate it.

Both computers have Windows XP Pro

I've tried various cable "converters" but they don't work. Any ideas?
