Hello!

So i installed all the security updates for xp only and then i started installing net framework 4 and i rebooted and i notice that the network icons loads slower those icons where fast loading at startup before net framework 4 install :p .So it means that net framework makes the network icons load slower on xp.
 
In general, I would only install NET Framework 4 if you absolutely need it for a certain program and/or installation to work properly. I don't put any NET versions newer than 2 (the last version to work with 98/ME/2000) on an XP installation.
