    I have a pc with pentium 4 runnig windows xp and when i tried to shutdown or restart it freeze's the os why???:mad:

    download and extract the document in the attached zip folder , it shows causes for most shutdown/reboot problems

    I forgot to say 1 thing a IT guy say that the video card has errors

    as most shutdown/reboot problems are hardware or drivers it is probable that you have a bad driver,

    what is the make, model and model number of pc
    Home, Pro, or MCE
    32bit or 64bit
    laptop or desktop

    see if you can boot to safe mode and uninstall the video driver, xp will then use a generic driver until we can find the proper driver for your pc
