I’m installing Windows XP 64bit and have Firefox installed and can’t sign in

    It’s working fine but can’t sign in.

    What's going on when you try?
    If you've installed Firefox then you must've been able to sign in before, right?

    No this is newly installed Firefox but when trying to sign in the little circle just stays on the screen

    To get my settings on it and so I don’t have to wait for pages to load

    I took it upon myself to install Firefox 52.9.0 and found the exact same problem. I noticed that accounts.firefox.com and the sync page all do a TLS handshake, so I feel like the TLS protocol is outdated on Firefox 52. I can't even get it to open up accounts.firefox.com, but interestingly, Mypal (an up-to-date twice removed cousin of Firefox) is perfectly able to load Firefox Accounts. I'll still fiddle with it from time to time. After all, Mypal wouldn't do it at first, but I don't know what changed, other than signing into Pale Moon sync for testing.

    So anyway gave up on xp-64. The desktop Andes up stuttering even with all the best conditions. Maybe future me can do it
