I receive links to http sites and when I click on the link my pc adds an s or https to the site address thus enabling me from getting to the site?

    How can I fix?

read above on the difference between the two, clicking on links within your browser will enable/disable you reaching your site dependent upon the security settings on your browser.

you most likely are infected and should run the following scan until it runs clean:

Download, install, update and do full scan with this free malware detection program

    Malwarebytes Free (MBAM): http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/

Remove all found, reboot, and run again until scan run clean, can be removed afterwards if you so choose.
