HP-ze5185, xp home, Can I Install 98se? Old Equip. runs on dos, upgrade impossible

you can read the thread above and gain some insights, but, I do not think it is actually possible, as the drivers required for 98 might not be available.
I googled install 98 se on my laptop and got quite a few hits.
One person said it would be better to go buy a really old pc that normally runs 98 and use that, instead of trying to run with xp or any other OS.
