How to Repair Backup and Restore Utilities in System Tools

    Good day, Guys:

    Please suggest fixes to for example, inability to boot to normal mode from safe; system (Windows XP Pro SP3) utilities such as backup and restore don't work, lots of crashes and BSODs, etc. I desire to keep my Baby XP.

    too many issues, wipe your drive and reinstall xp

    Actually, try a repair install first.

    unless the op has an install cd with sp3 slipstreamed in it a repair install is not the way to go as a repair done with an sp2 or earlier cd will repair it to that stage and all the programs will have to be reinstalled anyway, :)
