How to change background on wmp11 like on 12???

You can't. The only way to customize WMP's interface was with skins. You used to be able to download several from Microsoft but they are no longer available.
I recommend Aimp over WMP any day.

1) Run regedit by going to start menu and entering regedit in the search bar,
2) Navigate to the following registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\Preference enter 1-6 then close wmp and restart
