I have deleted the user who was the main name on a laptop and yet the old user name still appears in Explorer under a number of folder names in Documents. When I try to delete a couple of them it thinks I want to delete the whole of the My Documents folder. In other cases it says I can't delete the folder because access is denied. The old user name doesn't appear in the list of users so how do I get rid of these errant folders.
    Thanks
    Tony

Thanks so much Elizabeth (AGAIN!) Used Hiren's to get rid of the files. Thanks for introducing me to that download it has some amazing programs on it, could have done with that years ago!
    Thanks again
