I downloaded malwarebytes, but when I try to run it just cannot "unable to connect the server'

the new malwarebytes wants to connect to the server to download database,

above shows how to accomplish this, but you need a working pc to download and update malwarebytes and then transfer to the non internet connected pc.

I was thinking...about if I reinstall xp?...but I don't know how to do it
