Hardware Issues

Hello all
So i have installed xp embedded sp2 on a new motherboard with intel 41 chipset. No matter what i try i still have 2 hardware issues. These however are not needed for me to run my software. Problem is everything I startup the machine it tries to install unavailable drivers. I have tried uninstalling them and disabling them. But at start up the process starts again. Can I disable this ?

As I recall, when XP does this and displays the "Found New Hardware" popup, there's a check box you can click on telling XP not to look for drivers for this hardware again.

Thank you your comment. Yes it does and I have done this. However on startup it continues to try and install the new hardware.
 
Yeah I've used the Don't Search Again option and it's never popped up for me again.
One option you have is to always use Hibernate instead of Shut Down. Plus, your computer will probably boot faster while using this option.

In that case, it appears that you need to lookup the device ID and install any driver you find for those devices. Then you should at least be able to disable them and put a stop to the nags.
