Getting Admin permission XP

    This might have been addressed in the past but at this point I'm besides myself and need help.
    I hane an old dell 600m laptop. I've been trying to change my permissions from guest to Admin. There is no admin available to ask for help. Please don't laugh. I found this laptop at the recycle center. If this can be solved ii have an. Internet connect problem as well. Thanks in advance to all the members here.

    go to safe mode and create a new account with computer administrative capabilities, or just reinstall xp
