    Hi Everyone,
I have a Fujitsu Siemens Amilo Pro V2000 with Windows XP, now when i sometimes boot to Windows normally it will stop responding and the Hard Disk Light will go off, the computer have 248MB of ram.

The computer had : Skype, Yahoo! Messenger, AVG 2011 so i removed them
I made a laptop scan with MalwareBytes and everything is good, but there was a virus which i removed!

So i don't know if the problem is because of the virus.
Also the laptop will sometimes stop responding and hard disk light goes off when i am doing things randomly
So i wanna know the problem and i want to make this laptop better.

    Thanks,

    Hassan Wael

  2. You may need a new hard disk, though, I'm not 100% sure, if you don't have anything valuable on the pc, I would reinstall the OS.

    Hi Skeleton11223,
Will i have valuable things on the PC,I used a program which told me that the hard disk is 98% Fine, 2 bad sectors only

"I forget the program name but on Hirens Boot CD >>>> Dos Programs >>>> Hard Disk Tools"

    Thanks ,

(Update: I did a physical memory from the hard disk (2GB) but still the problem happens, maybe because the hard disk have a lot of stuff?)

    Thanks,

First thing you should back up all those valuable things, then work on your problem.
Then if you screw up or your drive is bad, you'll still have your data, , ,

Hdd's in laptops are usually not too hard to remove. Remove it, get some sort of usb adapter, & backup those important files on/to another computer. At the same time, you can do various tests on the old drive. Or just install a new drive in the laptop, install os & be done with it.

    (If you have another computer)

    Otherwise, I donno, , ,
