folders without names and empty when opening them

    Hi all, i installed windows xp recently to my friend , now i connected my phone to the computer through usb cable to transfer file from my smartphone to my pc, when i opened the phone's drive the folders has no names and empty when opening them , i did that on my samsung galaxy and my nokia and got the same result , here is a picture in the attachment section ..

    you do realize that to transfer from a certain device might need a driver??

    what is the make, and model, and model number of the device and I can look for a driver or instructions on how to transfer data.
