I have installed Firefox 52.0.1, supposedly the last FF to work with XP. (actually, FF portable)

    A few annoyances:

When typing in the 'search' box, it instantly drops down offering to search in any # of search engines.
    Can one turn that off??

When entering name/password, 'this is not secure' words to that effect, (like google red screen telling you "how bad it is") I get it, can one turn this off??

    I'll find more issues & get back, , , ,

(I still prefer FF 28.xx [portable!], just find quite a few pages that wont work with it)

I do not get those messages, I have removed the search box from the address bar and when I search I just use yahoo on my home page or google which I have as a bookmark so it is readily available. I have lots of passwords for email accounts and forums and I have not recieved that notification :) ???
