File in use by program called "Thumb". Can not delete file and can not delete "Thumb"

I have a File that exists on my desktop that I can not delete. When I attempt to delete it I get the message that it is in use by another program called "Thumb". I ran a search on "Thumb" and got several in the system but I can not open them or delete them. I get the message that they are in use. How do I turn them off and delete them so I can delete the original file on my desktop?

I assume its a virus so do a full scan with malwareytes https://www.malwarebytes.com/mwb-download/

But before you try this go into task manager and see if you can identifiy what thumb is then do end process on it.
