I am assisting a former student to repair his son’s desktop.
    It is as follows;
    Cicero.ca
    Model: PC MT 7
    Type: MED DT357
    S/N: 58085010001409
    8085-01 MED CA

The HDD started to act up and I was able to collect the necessary data and drivers for this particular system from their site
The drive was a Western Digital SATA 500 GB and I had a duplicate on hand loaded and formatted it as NTFS as was the old one, it finally quit at this time.
The motherboard is ID as: MS-7091 Ver:2
and there is a white sticker between the CPU and RAM with the #: 6110009898.

When I tried to install Win XP Pro the first message was – BOOTMGR is Missing and stops.
I know this CD is good, it is reading the DVD OK,but stops at that message.
I tried their WEB site but their FAQ is non-functioning
    Any advice will be appreciated.

    Problem solved.
    Thank you anyways.
Re-formatted HDD in my older XP machine.
    Loaded win XP Pro there.
Transfered HDD to the Medion Desktop
Did the updates for the drivers - all OK
