Greetings all
I have a hard drive (C
with two sub directories which contain decades of photographs.
One is called simply "Camera Photos" the other is "Win7 Camera photos"
The "Win7 Camera photos" came from a Win7 hard drive (which had Photoshop on it) that started to fail so I quickly copied the sub directory to my XP computer.
That sub directory contains about 150gb of photos, about 90gb of which are duplicates.
The "Camera Photos" on the XP drive was always a backup of the "Win7 Camera photos".
For years I would just make copies of the "Win7 Camera photos" for backup.
Now that they are on the same drive I would like to get rid of the duplicates in "Camera Photos".
What I need to do is compare the two sub directories and then delete the duplicates in "Camera Photos" and leave the "Win7 Camera photos" alone.
I just can't find a utility program that would let me do this.
Can someone help?
Thanks
