My PC has been unstable over the last several months, and I felt it was time to upgrade or use my Linux partition, but I realized it was my PSU that was causing all of the issues. It has already killed my R9 290X, and now it has killed my Samsung 850 Evo. I maintain backups of my Windows partition, so I haven't lost much data, however losing my R9 290X, especially in the current GPU market, is quite disappointing. Everything else appears to be in working order, but this serves as a warning to check more than your motherboard or Windows install when your computer becomes unstable.

Yeah it took me many years to learn why a (quality) 450watt PSU would cost 6x more than a (made-to-die) "750watt" PSU.
