Do New Printers work on XP?

So i was thinking do printers in this Modern Age still supports Windows XP?

I bought a Samsung 2070 bw laser printer/scanner 6-8 mo ago. They have/had a 'universal printer software' package that works for me. The 'ocr' function does not work, I wouldnt have used that anyways, , , ,
