Okay, so I am running into the blue screen error and there is nothing I have been able to do to get past it. I have tried starting in all modes including safe and the last working mode. I have tried to get my cd-rom to boot up the operating system re-install and I can't get anywhere near the computer opening up a OS re-install. This started two days ago and I have spent several hours attempting to fix it by reading things on the internet, but where their "fixes" work, I can't get past the blue screen. I don't care if I lose all of my files and installed games and such, I just want it to work so I don't have to go buy an entire new one since I just bought this one in June... I am attaching pictures of all the common screens I have been getting. I hope someone can help! Thanks.

    Hello MrSheppard,

Had similar problems on an old Dell GX-270.

Sometimes the BIOS does not want to "see" the cable jumper pin setup.

Solved by setting the jumper pin to Cable Select instead of Master.

    Good luck,

    Mark. (Aunty Jack).

    Hello again MrSheppard,

I forgot the most important thing.

The jumper pin slot on the rear of the physical drive C:\

Means you will have to open up the case to find it.

    Good luck,

    Mark. (Aunty Jack).
