So I have a issue where I try to use Windows XP VM after updating my vmware 12 to vmware 17 and i got crusty audio issue and slow performance And I don't know why is this happening like on the previous version of VMware 12 there was no issues other than crusty audio but i got that fixed but now i can't fix crusty audio and low performance? Did anybody encounter this issue before thanks?

Are you using VMWare Workstation Player 17.5.2 or VMWare Workstation Pro 17.5.2? Note the Pro version is now free also.
What version Windows is your host machine running? The better the computer the better the VM will work.
I created a Windows XP Pro virtual machine on my laptop with Windows 11 Pro. I am using VMWare Workstation Pro 17.5.2. When the VM is starting the audio stutters a bit.
When you say low performance how are you measuring performance? Give me a way to measure that and I can test my Windows XP VM. For comparison I can also test my two desktop computers with Windows XP Pro.
