Connection Turns Off and On

    Windows XP PRO Service Pack 3. Dell D600. Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless 2200BG {Calexico2} Network Connection (rev 05)

    I installed XP Pro. The wireless looses connection, then connects, then Looses connection over and over. Speed 54.0 Mbs. Signal Quality Very Good.

    Connected to default SSID network. I have notifications disabled. I am on a home network deep in the woods.I have my router open, so guests can access Internet here. I do not want to set up any security on this network. Right now I am accessing this open network with my other laptop, a Dell Inspiron 1520. Firefox 25.O No connection problem. Would removing the Intel wireless management software help.
