Cliqz browser for XP Pro?

Anyone know which was the last version to work for XP? I found a download site for old versions, but not sure which version to download.

You can install the Cliqz extension for Firefox on ESR. Add HTTPS Everywhere and maybe an ad-blocker, and you’ll end up with a similar package as the Cliqz browser.

the above is from the link , read this and see if you can find the download

I'm just looking for a real Cliqz browser. Tried their home site, but they would not answer the question...just trying to bully me into changing OS...like anyone would want their browser that bad! They have done their best to take old versions off the net, but not good enough. I just need to find out the last version that worked with XP.

Never heard of the Cliqz browser-it's quite an interesting concept, though for the time being Mypal has proven a reliable Gecko-based browser for XP.

Guess I'm like collecting browsers now. Have Firefox 30.0, IceDragon, MyPal (apparently based on Firefox 27.0), SRWare Iron, Chromodo, & one I can't remember....I'm on MY Linux right now, so I cannot check it. Went through over ten browsers so far that didn't survive the test drive.

What addons do you have with MyPal?

You've really gone through the paces when it comes to testing browsers--hats off to you, my friend!

The only addons I use on MyPal are:
- the Moonscape addon (for the old Netscape look) (https://addons.palemoon.org/addon/moonscape/)
-QuickJava (look for version 2.0.4.1-signed) (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/quickjava/versions/)
-uBlock Origin (look for firefox-legacy-1.16.4.4) (https://github.com/gorhill/uBlock/releases)
-uBlock Origin Updater (self-explanatory) (https://addons.palemoon.org/addon/ublock0-updater/)

Chris Pederick's trusty User Agent Switcher has never worked in Pale Moon, in any of the many versions I've tried over the years. Thankfully, I don't use it too much these days, but it does come in handy on older Firefox versions (which are now starting to feed 'legacy' pages to FF if your version is older than a certain cutoff point; I use a Firefox 54 user agent to get the latest page versions).

trimis, if you would like to know what I am running for any comparison tests they are in my attachments :)

Yep, and still questing to try more browsers. Oh, the one I forgot I have was Slimjet. The addons I have for Mypal:
Adblock Latitude 5.01
Ant Video Downloader 2.4.7.50
BetterPrivacy 1.67
Disable Anti-Adblock 3.1.1
Downthemall! 2.0.1.8
Self-Destructing Cookies 0.4.0
Skip Redirect 1.0
Tab Killer 1.1.2007042501
Yes Script 2.2
Most of these I'm just testdriving. Adblock Latitude was cheered on the Mypal site, but I'm not convinced it's doing much....probably will look around for something better. Skip Redirect and Tab Killer are the only essentials. Couple of sites I watch movies and TV shows on was grinding my nerves by opening 5 to 10 tabs/windows for every click, with redirects to hostage sites, porn sites, adware sites, etc., but these two addons ruined their fun!

Glad to see you got Mypal! It is definitely impressing me the longer I have it. Looks like the only plugins I have on mine are VLC Web Plugin 2.2.6.0, Microsoft Media Player Plug-in 3.0.2.629, Microsoft DRM 9.0.0.4503 (DRM Netscape Network & DRM Store Netscape Plug-in). None of these I installed, and I have the DRM crapola set to 'never activate'. No idea how Mypal manages to play the movies, TV shows, Youtube vids, etc., without Adobe Flash in the plugins.

uBlock Origin is more reliable for me than Adblock Plus ever was. I only use Adblock Plus on browsers that are too old to have a uBlock Origin version available for/compatible with them. Thankfully, uBlock Origin has been forked to/works with Mypal (sadly, the legacy version does not work with Firefox 28--I tried to install it unsuccessfully).

trimis, I think adobe flash is incorporated into mypal, cannot remember where I read that, probably at the msfn or github forums.

That would explain it. Mypal is far superior to Firefox. Still have not gotten Firefox 30.0 or IceDragon to accept either version of flash that shows up in 'My Programs'.

'uBlock Origin' is a bit too reliable for me. I have it installed on IceDragon, and 'uBlock Plus Adblocker' 1.5.2 on SRWare Iron. Both give me grief when using Google Shopping for pricing (or finding alternate sources for) an item. I pretty much have to disable it, and 'AdMuncher', for comparison-shopping. Plus neither version seems to be doing much to halt the advert overlays I especially detest.
