A very merry Christmas and happy, healthy new year. I too will be staying in especially since I personally know someone who recently suffered a loss due to COVID. Sadly they weren't following social distancing/mask protocols (they were one of those COVID deniers). 2020 is a year that should be flushed down the toilet, even worse than 9/11 (I was in the north tower of the WTC that day).
Despite all the challenges this past year has presented the holidays are a time to be thankful for what you do have, not what you don't have. There are far too many people in this world who would consider what we think of as the most basic of necessities as luxuries (refugees in Lesbos).
May the new year bring an end to this pandemic and a return to some form of normalcy. The only good thing that came out 2020 for me was the legalization of recreational marijuana in my state.
