Can't install windows xp

    I am Windows 7 user but later I decided to change my OS which is Windows xp, but when I install xp theres always comes out a BLUE Screen Error......

    ACER Veriton x4640g
    Windows 7 32 bit

    what was the original os on the acer??

    what steps did you take when you went to install xp

    have you ever done a clean install before?

    do you have all your drivers

    there are no drivers available to install xp on that pc, according to the manufacturers driver download website the pc came with win10.

    ACPI is not updated, according to the BLUE Screen error...

    The original os is windows 7
    The usual installation
    I did not try clean install before

    1. I assume this is a sata drive, xp cannot be installed on a sata drive without sata controllers, which will have to be slipstreamed onto your xp install cd with nlite.

    2. see here for 7b stop errors read through several threads and articles.

    3. go here for install instructions, let me know if you do not understand any steps

    4. this page is a search page for installing xp on an ACER

    under my sata is AHCI only

    I've tried searching to net, someone said that SATA should be in IDE for you to install xp. when i check my sata i don't have ide instead ahci.

    it is not hard to slipstream and xp install cd with your sata controllers, with nlite.

    I had to do this for an xp laptop with sata drives, my desktop has ide drives. :)
