The version I had (just uninstalled it after five nag popups in two hours) was 3.3.1.2183. The only other version I know to be compatible with XP is 3.5.1.2522-1.0.365-1.0.5292, according to the MB site...but will not install it til I know how to end the too frequent nags to upgrade to paid.

I use version 3.0.0.1490 there are ads that run along the bottom while scanning, does not bother me, for when I run a scan I just go do something else while it is running. :) since malwarebytes does not run in real time (I use it only as an ondemand scanner) there are no ads popping up .

Google is not giving me a download source for 3.0.0.1490. Know where I can get it?

No problem. So you are using the version 3.5.1.2522-1.0.365-1.0.5292, mentioned in exile360 post of July 28:
    https://forums.malwarebytes.com/topic/233802-what-version-can-i-download-for-windows-xp/
It gives no regular popup nag to upgrade to the paid version? The version I uninstalled was throwing up large square popups like every hour or more (and on first logon), at the right screen corner.

Does this app require internet access? I'm thinking of blocking updates via Agnitum Outpost 2009 Firewall.
