    Hello everyone

Apologies if I am posting in the wrong section but I think my problem has to do something with the configuration.

I am trying to install updates, most of them are security updates for office 2003 but all of them fail because its one of them require some kind of file.

For example, the first update is Outlook 2003.

    Initializing installation...done!
Installing Update for Outlook 2003 (KB943649) (update 1 of 15)...

Then a windows pops up with the following message:

The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable.
Click OK to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package 'OLKINTL.MSP' in the box below.

I downloaded this MSP file and point windows installer to the right path but it does not like. It gives me the error:

The file C:\path1\olkintl.msp is not a valid installation package for the product. Try to find the installation package 'OLKINTL.MSP' in a folder which you can install.

    What does it mean?

If I click cancel on the update it moves on the second one and again the same problem. Windows installer pops up and requires another file.

If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.

    Many thanks

I would first repair your installation of office 2003, in add/remove select change and a dialog box will open and you can choose to repair your installation, then try to update again after repair.
