What I want is for duckduck/firefox to always scroll smoothly. When I use the 'down' arrow on my keypad, the whole link which is highlighted, jumps th the next link, (highlighting it) If I place mouse pointer on the bottom of the scroll bar and click, the whole page scrolls smoothly to the bottom of the page.

I cannot find any settings for this issue, neither Windows, Firefox, DudkDuckGo, tried searching, re-wording the quiery many times but no luck.

Its prolly some simple thing to fix it, but I dunno where it might be!

Duckduckgo is one of my go to search engines, but I use the LITE version:
    https://lite.duckduckgo.com/lite
Never gives me a problem and loads very fast.
Have not ever used regular ducckduckgo though.

I use a mouse versus the keyboard arrows, I have not had this issue have you tried it with a mouse?

Actually, yes. I prefer prefer the 'arrows' though.

edit: One strange thing tho, (with arrows) after scrolling to almost (75-80%) the bottom of the page, stops jumping from link to link & finally begins smooth scrolling!

I tried to implement this issue, when I use the up and down arrows, it goes from link to link and scrolls smoothly, have you done a refresh of firefox and do the mouse settings in control panel affect the arrows?
