Bruce Lee 3D - Quite A Good Animation Done In Old PowerAnimator 8 & Maya 1.0>>>

This is actually quite good for the late 90's... Years ago I tried Maya 1.0 what a head-banger... Can't even imagine doing something like this in it...

I do use Maya 4.5 though on my old-old machines... It was the first version with the 'Smooth Proxy'...

Here's a brochure... Unlimited Maya was 8 grand-

This was before it had Mental Ray but I never minded that... I thought the Maya Software Render Engine was pretty good, plus faster-simpler...

Here's a couple renders I did a year or so ago in 4.5, they have a nice aliased softness to them-

Beautiful models of the tank destroyer! Well done!

Thanks, I did not model the tank, just rendered it... I had got it off the wayback as a Maya model... I lit the scene using 'DomeGI' which simulates radiosity in a fakish manner...

Thanks! I have so many programs from you that I had to organize the desktop shortcuts into folders, will check this one out too. The other models are great too!
Well hopefully your desktop is rather large haven't scratched surface yet maybe a poor buffing with a toothbrush...

One thing is this Maya 4.5... Will be uploading it with all plugins that I could get to work which is an immense boon as Mayas are very version specific as to what will work... Just have a few more to test...

Maya 4.5 is good for older XP machines as well, easy on resources, capable but less to learn that Maya 5...
