Hello from Aunty Jack,
Some time ago Ian (Administrator) asked about browsers members were using.
Over quite some time I have been using/trying out various browsers from the “biggies” like Firefox and Google Chrome to the ultra light like Slimboat. (all on XP 32 bit).
One browser does stand out and is now my browser of choice. Comodo Ice Dragon.
From the “blurb” on their web site Comodo Ice Dragon is based on the Firefox engine but significantly “lightened”. In daily use Comodo Ice Dragon looks and feels exactly like Firefox but somewhat faster. The only downside is that the install of Ice Dragon will not import Bookmarks/Favourites from whatever browser is currently being used. Perhaps the html file (bookmarks/favourites) could be imported but I am not really all that good with html.
No, I am not being paid to promote Comodo Ice Dragon but it is, in my humble opinion, well worth trying out on an XP system running on old limited hardware.
Cheers from Aunty Jack.
