Blue Vertical Help Bar in every folder

    I made the mistake of customizing the icon in an XP folder to distinguish it from all the others on my desktop. Now all my folders have a blue vertical Help bar when opened with menu items including "File and Folder Tasks, Other Places and Details". How do I get rid of this unwanted bar?

    start/ control panel/ folder options/ on the first tab at the top choose windows classic folders
