First post here. Glad I found this forum.
I’ve just built myself an XP pc with Windows XP pro SP3. I’m trying to use parts from the that period. It has a Phenom triple core 8400 2.1ghz and a NVIDIA GT710 graphics card. I plan on collecting as many PC games I can from that era and playing them. I’ve heard that some games will have a problem with multiple cores. Should I stop where I am and build another one with a single or two core, or will multiple cores be okay? I’m also going to build a second one with a quad core Phenom.
Also If anyone has experience with XP Gaming could you please tell me if 2gb Ram is enough to run these older games?
