Best Android Emulator to Download for Windows XP

I've been trying without success to locate a good emulator ... the ones that used to work no longer do so I wind up playing html games online, but that is taking a chance, of course. People say they wouldn't even without a VPN and I can not afford one and the free VPNs give me "the creeps".

Do let us know if you find a good one that isn't malware ridden.

Take good care.

I use BlueStacks on my newer Windows boxes and it works pretty well working with all the games I have on my phone. Unfortunately they don't have a version that will work on XP.

NoxPlayer has an older version on their website that works on XP.

I downloaded version 5.0.0.1 and it did install on my XP machine but wouldn't run - it complained that it needed at least 2 GB RAM (I only have 512 MB) and it needed at least a dual core CPU with either Intel VT-x or AMD-V. My newer PCs all meet these requirements but not my Compaq V2000. No such thing as a lightweight Android emulator for XP, they all have to emulate an ARM CPU for apps to work properly.

Ugh .... getting rough to find games anymore for XP. Hopefully we'll find something suitable as I'm also on ancient (failing) hardware but still huffing and puffing along, I guess, until its last breath. ;)

I hope it works on my Win XP machine
