    Greetings.
    New member here.
First, a shout-out and cordial hello to my internet-friend xperceniol :)

I am here from MSFN where I feel it has become time to move away from (too much negativity and out-of-context bickering towards XP-users by people not on XP, too much negativity and out-of-context bickering towards 360Chrome-users by people not even using 360Chrome).

Reminder - this project does NOT "backport". If a web site does not natively run in Chrome/Chromium v86, it will not run in 360Chrome v13.5.

This project does bring "modern" capabilities up-to-and-including Chrome/Chromium v86 [October 2020] to Windows XP/Vista. Reminder that Chrome/Chromium dropped XP/Vista support with v49 [March 2016].

New to forum so still learning how it works.
Looks like my post with actual download links is "delayed from view" until a moderator can approve it.

My current build is build 2022.
I do have an in-process build 2036 but no ETA on its completion.
Also, with the "original" being Chinese, I have no real way of knowing "exactly" what build 2036 actually gains us over build 2022.

Good to have you here. Your work on Chrome browsers is greatly appreciated by all us XP users since Mozilla offerings aren't keeping up with the modern web.

Thank you for joining here. I do miss some people over there but likely I won't return either - was just simply time. I did get your message and it meant a lot to hear that the world needs more like me, but I'm nothing special, trust me, just me as is.

Yeah, moderation is a bit more strict as I guess there was span here at one time. I'll keep my eyes open for your links once Liz gets around to posting them.

    Take care.

    ~Salvatore :)

Since its almost time for bed, just figured I'd post a picture of the browser on my system and the speed and accuracy is greatly improved from the Humming Owl versions and there is no need to block the ips as AF has removed much if not most of the telemetry - and thus - we now have a much more private browser as a result. Yeah, V11 was amazing but we have to move on as YT (whist still plays YT vids but will no longer search) I've uninstalled it completely, and hopefully together, here, we can improve even more with speed as V13 is heavier, but no worse than V12 which I was not a fan.

Ok and okay ... see ya later all and hopefully we'll see the newest links soon.

    Welcome, rereser.
I hope threads with links don't always take THIS LONG to show up.
24hrs later and that post is still waiting for moderator review.
I did change the "name" of my Dropbox account but the links should still be good.
Can't really verify that until they "finally" show up.

Looking forward to a well-moderated experience.

Links in 3rd post need DELETED.
I assumed that I could EDIT them AFTER they were posted and that I could EDIT them days/weeks/months down the road when future updates are rolled out.
This does not seem to be the case as the "edit" link disappears after so many minutes/hours.

    Thanks

    ...........
I'm surprised they didn't show up yet. I hope Liz is alright. I'll send her a pm in case something is wrong.

EDIT: I did send her a message just checking in on her as I believe she is southern US and I'm up here in North East USA.

Hopefully, you'll won't be waiting too long, AF. I don't know which member is the admin Ian here; sorry :( I'm sort of new here myself, actually.

The links did show up but then I had them deleted.
The way that they "pasted" into this forum had "dots" in the links and the text was "shortened", so the link wasn't actually a true link.
    Like Google shortened to G..e.
You cannot EDIT a post days/weeks/months later on this forum so I won't be able to do updates in the "first" post of the thread like I did at MSFN.
I'll upload and do new links within the next day or two.

    Welcome, verta.

The "loader" .exe and the "definition" of 'portable' was basically where we left off before the "kids" took over.
I'm investigating possibly REPLACING the "loader" with an oldie-but-goodie called JauntePE (aka, JPE).
It basically "sandboxes" the entire 360Chrome from even using the Windows Registry "temporarily" as it does currently.
The "temporary" approach seems to leave remnants behind though I have NEVER witnessed this but JPE will safeguard/prevent "possible leaks".
It's been several years since I used JPE on a regular basis, so I'm kinda catching myself back up before releasing an update utilizing JPE.
Another option is another oldie-but-goodie called Registry Rapper.
My fear though is that "modern" anti-virus would flag one or both of these as "malware" - FALSE POSITIVE (but that's always a matter of perspective).

    Welcome, verta :)

Good news and I'll look forward to testing it. Do you recommend going as we already have it for now? I've never used JauntePE.
