    Hi all,

I am trying to reintall the OS.
I have installed the first DVD with the OS but wen I try to install the Application and driver recovery disc my PC is unable to reboot from the DVD.
The reboot menu setting are fine and the Optical driver is the first in the list. Kind of desperate. I v tried many times but it always restart from my hard drive.

    Thanks for your
    help

you say you have the bios set to boot from the cd/dvd drive first??

what exactly do the discs say?? are they recovery discs or genuine os installation cd's??

also what is the make, model and model number of your pc?

    laptop or desktop??
