So I need a new hdd for Emachines t3110 and I see a Xintor hdd advertised which say in their notes "The hard disk can not be formatted, can only be deleted files." I don't know what this means. Any help here with this question?

Sounds like either they have a restriction built into the controller or they are lying. Can you show me a link to where you saw this?

I'm not familiar with the Xintor brand. It apparently is Chinese, so who knows?

I think it is Chinese to English translation glitch, but you know you won't get any tech support unless you also speak Chinese.
