    HI EVERYONE :):)

one of my life joys is watching old movies that have and are made in good taste.

But lately the voice -motion sync of my WMP is off by sometimes 8 seconds and darn irritating.:eek::eek:

is there a know fix ?????

    stay safe out there

    outdated codecs?

Note: The steps mentioned below are applicable to Windows Media player only.

As of now, I would suggest you to try the steps mentioned below.

Make sure “Drop frames to keep audio and video synchronized”

    a. Open Windows Media Player.

    b. Click on Tools and then on Options

    c. Switch to Performance tab.

    d. Ensure that a check is next to the "Drop frames to keep audio and video synchronized" and "Turn on DirectX Video Acceleration for WMV files" options.

    e. Click "Apply" and click "OK."

Restart Windows Media Player and open a video file. Ensure that the audio and video are in sync.

above is someone's advice, I am not sure if it works or not

does the same issue occur when using a different player? I like mpc-hc, but there is vlc and a couple of others, download and install a free version and see if the problem STILL occurs
