hello everyone today I bring you my root certificate update pack for legacy windows versions this pack has all the required certificates to get you older computers and laptops up to date and fixes sha-2 issues as well (all material use in this pack are copyrighted by microsoft corporation and its partners and all credit for this pack goes to them) and here is the mediafire link to the download https://www.mediafire.com/download/uex8tn3rl5rv3dn (hosted thru mediafire) and here is the official microsoft eulu for reference https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windowsvirtualdesktop/eula this is not for uploading on other websites. (like your private website) making videos on it or selling for profit

    hello and welcome legacyfan ,
thank you for posting this here.
i assume install is just by running the certificate installer.bat.
    two questions though ...
does the bat file also work with the files in the "crl root certificate files" folder ?
what does this bring to windows xp after using the cert updater 1.6 ?

@reraser the bat file currently does not work yet but I'm working on adsing all the certificates and the right paths to it to help them integrate right but for now you just have to manually install them

I'm sorry that my memory (no computer memory) is faulty from way back; but you also included a fix when XP was going down and I didn't save it but applied your fixes ... do you remember?

This could also be helpful to some here.

I use to have a copy of that but the files disappeared at some point a year back and I still have not been able to track down a copy of the files yet if I ever find a copy of it I'll post it here

OK ... thank you and I hope you can locate those old files as they might have been the fix that kept us going.

you install them like normal certificates just extract them to the desktop and click on one of them it should have an option to "Install" it in the pop up menu

Is this root certificate update pack currently up to date?
Is it recommended if using 360 chrome?
