Why are you still using Windows XP in 2025?

- Because it makes me feel at home.
- Because it's fast, reliable and reasonably devoid of useless frills
- Because it hasn't given me a BSOD in the last 11 years
- Because Microsoft's later progeny are steadily going from bad to worse
- Because I'm too lazy to switch to Linux
- Because it does only what I tell it to do
- Because it can be easily prevented from calling home
- Because...

It's a long, long, long list. Do you really want me to continue?

In this new year (2025) I have made the tenacity to resuscitate my old computers, to put Windows XP, in Dual Boot- unforgettable in my laptop and others computers, I have to deal with Windows 11…

I have THE EXACT SAME laptop, a Toshiba Satellite Pro with 500GB storage and 4GB RAM! How did you install Windows XP on it? Mine has Windows Vista installed on it, how do I install Windows XP?

Yes, Watched a video on Brighteon a week ago about switching to Linux Mint however that does no good if you have bins fulla old windows software & really don't care that much about internet-AI... I guess few out there think about using the most optimal windows OS regardless of age as the mentality is always 'If it's old, it's CRAP!' which is not the case at all as we can clearly see...

Linux won't be the way it is for long anyway as one of the largest honorary contributors is... Wait for it...Gill Bates!! There is nothing that's new that won't be corrupted, they'll just wait for a certain number of peeps to change over to it before perverting it...

However XP is done & over so is safe for consumption...
