Current VUE has been freeware for several years now-

However you better have a modern OS & good graphics to use it... When they do this they never release OLD versions as freeware only the current... This works well on XP if you have a reasonable graphics card from say 2007....
This is a special portable because it fires up registered from anywhere... YES, there were later portables but they needed some keygen or other medication to get them going so not 'really' portables...
This is just the app not any content... If the upload 'sticks' then I will upload content... Vue can also load in Poser 6 content, trueSpace, Shade3D & more so can be used as a render engine in this way...

Those were commercial at the time... The Geek-at-Play guy had some on his channel but deleted all the old stuff a few years ago... What a WASTE!... Who knows... Eon Software which is now 'Bentley' probably does not even have a copy of Vue 6 around anymore... Being a C4D fan I had bumped into plugin developer of old Paul Everett a few years ago who complimented me on my vast Cinema4D plugin collection & I said "Hey..HEY! Wait!... I don't have all YOUR plugs do you still have them?"... "NAW, I deleted all those many years ago"... All that work just to delete them, I woulda at least burned to disc & filed away... Still makes me wanna vomit...

I really don't like the GUI of Vue 6 but luckily there's a setting in prefs where you can make it look like Vue 5-
