RE: RamDisk software

Anyone know which RamDisk software loads a ramdrive at boot, instead of loading at logon?
I'm looking into using this tech as a component of privacy/security solution.

Damn I had a good one which lets you load one into the hidden region just below the 4 GB address boundary (when I ran XP, it provided me a 512 MB RAM Disk)

I'll look for it when I get home.

Here we go. On the page there's a link for Gavotte's RAM Disk and an explanation with images on how to use it.

When I used this with XP x86, I had it set to create a RAM disk of 512 MB using the wasted memory below 4 GB (my video card at the time only had 64 MB of VRAM on it. If you add more than 4 GB of RAM and use PAE access to utilize the extra memory, I find that XP takes a slight performance hit, but with just 4 GB of memory, you're fine!
