I have been having problems with recovering my Acer Aspire One, Model KAV10 D150 to its original state. I used rufus to boot off the Recovery1.iso file. When it begins the recovery process, it asks me for my recovery disk while i have it in the laptop. I tried this on a vm and it worked fine. Any way to fix this?

Rufus isn't perfect and doesn't work with all ISOs, especially custom ones. If you really want to use your recovery iso instead of a regular WinXP iso, then you may need an external USB dvd drive. Another option is trying www.easy2boot.xyz for booting your recovery from a usb stick.
