Printer Wirelless Connection

I have installed my wireless EPSON XP 600 printer on my wireless Laptop OS XP using latest updated EPSON download software and according to message,successfully, but when I test print or other document I get error message and no printing....however the printer prints ok when requested from other wireless devices such as IPad and iMac computer!....where am I going wrong.

The printer prints ok when wired to Laptop via usb cable.

not sure what an adhoc connection is but this has instructions on how to install and print a test page.

Hi, Liz.

'Ad-hoc' connections are exactly what you would imagine them to be; a wireless connection set up 'on-the'fly, as it were, usually from one device straight to another.....as opposed to being routed via your normal router infrastructure, which you set up before you start to use it.
